Christopher Evans has a solid work experience in various technical support roles. Christopher started their career as an IT Operations Center Contractor at Premera Blue Cross in September 2017 and worked there until April 2018. Christopher then joined Starbucks Enterprise Help Desk as a Help Desk Analyst from February 2016 to August 2017, providing support to retail and non-retail employees. Prior to that, they worked as a Help Desk Consultant at UW-IT Learning Technologies from April 2014 to September 2015, assisting clients with computer software issues and supervising new employees. Returning to Premera Blue Cross, Christopher held various positions, including IT Operations Center Tech I from April 2018 to May 2019, IT Operations Center Tech II from May 2019 to March 2020, and IT Operations Center Tech Lead/Technical Support III from March 2020 to May 2022. Christopher took on the role of IT Operations Center Technical Support IV from May 2022 to July 2022 and is currently serving as the Technical Lead in the same department from July 2022 onwards. Throughout their roles, Christopher has been involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software, hardware, network, batch operations, unified communications, security, platform, configuration management database, and website. Christopher has also played a critical role in emergency response for service alerts and outages, including bridge facilitation, outage communication, paging, documentation, and bridge support. Christopher demonstrated their ability to create and implement standards for issue classification, priority, and documentation within the ticketing system.
Christopher Evans received their High School Diploma from Glacier Peak High School from 2007 to 2011. Christopher then pursued higher education at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics with a focus on Scientific Computing and Numerical Analysis. In addition to their formal education, Christopher also obtained several certifications, including Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2022, Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in September 2021, SharePoint Online Essential Training: The Basics from LinkedIn in August 2021, Empathy for Customer Service Professionals from LinkedIn in July 2021, ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert in June 2020, and DevOps Foundations: Effective Postmortems and DevOps Foundations: Incident Management from LinkedIn in May 2020.
