Emily Smart

Emily Smart is an accomplished Packaging Development Technologist currently employed at Premier Foods since November 2022. With extensive experience in the packaging industry, Emily has held several key positions, including Development Manager for Labels & Tape at Essentra Packaging, where responsibilities included leading development teams and project management. Prior roles at Essentra also encompassed innovation in PSA labels and linerless labels, while earlier experience at Payne Security involved creating label solutions in brand protection and authentication. Emily's career began as a Development Scientist at Croda and included roles as a Clinical Project Assistant at ClinPhone and a Temporary Technical Packaging Assistant at Cott Beverages. Emily holds a BSc Hons in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Kent, earned in 2003.
