Lisa Bishop

VP, Training & Clinical Development at Premier Health

Lisa H. Bishop, Vice President, Training and Clinical Development, works with the Chief Medical Officer and the administrative leadership team to plan, lead and evaluate the training and education programs for all team members and participates in the on-boarding process; coordinates education and training programs for training preceptors and new and existing team members, including annual and on-going support. She works with company leaders to ensure education competencies meet or exceed industry best practices and assists members to ensure new partnerships, acquisitions, and/or mergers are implemented in a manner to achieve the desired results. Dr. Bishop has over 20 years of clinical experience, including ten years in Urgent Care. She is a member of the Urgent Care Association (UCA). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Walden University where she has been on the graduate faculty since 2013. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and prior to joining Premier in 2016, she was on the faculty of Fran University and has served as a primary care provider in North Mississippi and for the Veterans Administration.
