Wiets Cronje

Wiets Cronje is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive management experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Resident Manager at Premier Hotels & Resorts since July 2023, Wiets has held various key positions including General Manager at JH GROUP, Deputy General Manager at Cape Town Lodge Hotel, and F&B Manager at The Square Boutique Hotel. Previous roles include Assistant General Manager at Orion Group and OR Tambo Conference Centre Manager at Birchwood Hotel & O R Tambo Conference Centre, among others. Wiets also has international experience from internships at Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Yosemite National Park, as well as a foundational role at Rovos Rail. Wiets holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the University of Pretoria.
