Dean Smith

Dean Smith possesses extensive experience in football, particularly in academy support and player development. Since August 2014, Dean has held various leadership roles at The Premier League, including Head of Academy Support and Senior Academy Support Manager. Prior to this, Dean contributed to the football development sector at The Football Association from April 2008 to August 2014, serving as FA Team Leader and FA Skills Coach. Dean began a career in coaching at Bristol Rovers Football Club from July 2004 to May 2008 as an Academy Coach and has experience as a professional player at West Ham United FC and Stevenage Football Club. Dean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports Performance from the University of Bath, awarded in May 2008.
