Bonke Selemani has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they began working as an Assistant Lecturer at the International University of Equator - IUE. In 2017, they moved on to become a Software Developer at Sayari Advanced Technologies. bonke then transitioned to Zebra Electronics in 2018, where they worked as an Information Technology Consultant. Most recently, they have been employed as a Software Developer at Premier LogiTech since 2020.

Bonke Selemani obtained a Certification in Cisco networking from Dallas College North Lake Campus in 2019. bonke also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Hope Africa University in 2008-2012, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2008-2012. Additionally, in October 2019, they obtained a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician from Cisco.
