Jerod Eastman

Jerod Eastman is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the General Manager of Premier Magnesia, LLC, the oldest continuously operating mine in Nevada, since May 2024. With a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from South Dakota Mines, Jerod has held various leadership positions, including President of DJ 6E Consulting since July 2016, focusing on the design, construction, and operation of surface mines. Previous roles include General Manager at WESCO | Western Explosives Systems Company and General Manager for multiple mining divisions at companies such as Rango Inc. and DENNIS MCCOY & SONS INC. Jerod also served as Chief Operating Officer at North Peak Resources Ltd and Open Pit Project Director at Nevada Copper Corp, bringing extensive technical knowledge and a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and profitability throughout a career spanning several notable mining organizations.
