Mark Weller has extensive work experience in investment communications and marketing. Mark started their career as a Market Research Interviewer at Millward Brown in 2000. Mark then worked at Friends Provident as a Marketing Graduate Trainee before becoming a Communications Consultant. Mark later joined Friends Life UK as a Marketing Communications Executive, where they promoted corporate benefits to employee benefit consultants. At Friends Provident, they worked as an Investment Communications Executive, developing the investment communications strategy for the corporate pensions business. Mark also had a secondment at F&C Investments during this time. Weller then joined Friends Provident International, where they held the positions of Funds Marketing Executive and Funds Marketing Manager. In these roles, they produced marketing materials and educational resources to support the global expatriate propositions in the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. Currently, Weller is working at Premier Miton Investors as an Investment Communications Manager, responsible for delivering investment communications to support the company's growth strategy in the UK.
Mark Weller has a diverse education background. Mark attended Bromsgrove School from 1983 to 1993. Mark then earned their Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies from Brunel University London, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following this, Mark pursued a Master's Degree in Marketing Management at Aston Business School from 1998 to 1999. Continuing their education, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2003. Lastly, they completed the Investment Management Certificate at CFA Society United Kingdom in 2006.
