Jacob Weiss

Jacob Weiss has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Summer Intern at Southwire Company in 2013. Jacob then worked as a Process Engineer at Southwire Company from December 2013 to June 2015.

Following that, Jacob joined Premier Research Labs in July 2015 as a Process Engineer. During their tenure there, they led a project to increase throughput of a liquid filling line, achieving a 200% increase through standardization and process controls. Jacob also evaluated new encapsulated products for producibility on equipment.

In August 2018, Jacob became a Lead Engineer at Premier Research Labs. Jacob successfully increased throughput by over 400% by replacing equipment in the powder packaging department and mentored a process engineer through a project to overhaul shipping and receiving storage, resulting in significant cost savings.

In April 2019, Jacob was promoted to the role of Production Manager at Premier Research Labs. Jacob established a company standard for lean philosophy and led the implementation of this philosophy, resulting in increased project owners, cost savings, reduced lead time, and improved employee retention.

Most recently, Jacob served as the Director of Manufacturing Operations at Premier Research Labs starting in March 2022. In this role, they led Operations teams in achieving company objectives by implementing continuous improvement strategies and achieved substantial reductions in operating expenses and increased EBITDA.

Jacob Weiss earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician from Tarleton State University, completing their studies in 2013. Jacob later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from West Texas A&M University, which they obtained in 2025. In addition to their degrees, Jacob also obtained a Lean Black Belt Six Sigma certification in October 2017, although the institution that provided this certification is unspecified.
