Mistie Young

Mistie Young has a diverse work experience in the IT project management field. Mistie started their career as a Systems Analyst at EDS Group in 1997. From 1999 to 2007, they worked at XO Communications as a Project Manager, where they contributed to improving operational efficiencies through system integration and data cleanup strategies. In 2011, they joined Verizon as a Senior Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager, where they collaborated with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and implemented successful project implementations for new product offerings, resulting in revenue growth. Since 2018, Mistie has been working at Premier Trailer Leasing, first as a Senior IT Project Manager and currently as the Director of the IT Project Management Office.

Mistie Young completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Baylor University, where they attended from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications. In February 2019, Mistie received the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from both Thought Rock and PeopleCert.
