Vice President, Health Equity & Medical Informatics at Premise Health

Maria R. has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Maria began their career as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Kendall Medical Center in 2009, where they worked until 2011. From there, they joined Take Care Health Systems as a Health Center Manager/Nurse Practitioner, managing all aspects of a 24-hour health center for a year and a half. In 2013, Maria joined Premise Health as Director of Clinical Operations Support, where they provided consultative guidance to occupational health centers and coordinated project plans. In 2019, they were promoted to Associate Vice President of Medical Informatics, where they played a crucial role in optimizing electronic health record systems and implementing new technologies. Most recently, Maria has taken on the position of Vice President of Health Equity & Medical Informatics at Premise Health, where they continue to lead and contribute to the development of healthcare technology solutions.

Maria R. holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing from the University of Miami, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Maria also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the same university, with a specialization in Nursing Practice. Currently, Maria is pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Florida International University, starting in 2022. Additionally, Maria has obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Bloomberg Market Concepts, and ACLS Provider. In 2023, they plan to attend Keio University to complete a Consortium for Global Business Innovation Executive MBA program.
