Vincenzo Romaniello has a wealth of experience in the field of automation and molecular biology. Vincenzo is currently working as a Product Manager Automation Systems at PreOmics since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Field Application Specialist Automation Europe at Eppendorf Group from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for method programming, development and implementation of EpMotion automated liquid handling system, liaising with Global applications team, marketing and service team, and conducting and analyzing market research and dynamics. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Field Application Specialist Alinity and Molecular Application Specialist EMEA at Abbott, providing scientific and application support for CE-IVD analyzers Alinity C (Clinical Chemistry) and Alinity I (Immunology). From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Technical Application Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, providing scientific and technical support for Pierce (protein biology), molecular biology and Affymetrix (DNA microarrays) products. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Society, where they worked on unveiling the impact of alternative splicing isoforms (E65 and E70) on the biological properties of the oncogenic potassium channels Kv10.1.
Vincenzo Romaniello has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Physiology from The University of Göttingen, obtained in 2014.
