Juan Antonio Burgos

Juan Antonio Burgos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role was as the Head of Corporate IT at Preply, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Global IT Lead at Preply from February 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Preply, Juan worked as the Spain IT Manager at Rakuten TV from December 2013 to February 2021. Juan Antonio also held a brief role as an IT Manager at Ubisoft in September to December 2013.

During their career, they have gained experience in different industries, including gaming and technology. Juan Antonio served as a Systems Administrator at Digital Chocolate from April 2011 to September 2013.

Additionally, they worked as a Técnico Sistemas at AITANA from October 2009 to March 2010. Prior to that, they served as a Técnico Sistemas 24x7 at NEXICA, where they were responsible for proactive monitoring, customer incident handling, and executing established routines, from January 2008 to April 2009.

Earlier in their career, Juan worked as a Technical Operations professional at Integra Interactive, S.L, where they resolved incidents, created documentation, implemented logistical procedures, and repaired media centers from June 2006 to October 2007.

Juan Antonio began their career at SIPEC in the role of Installations, where they remained for an extended period from an unspecified date in 2000 until 2006.

Juan Antonio Burgos obtained a degree in MCITP with a focus on Server Administration from Projecte Universitat Empresa in 2011. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including ITIL Foundation v4 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, Jamf Certified Admin and Certified Casper Technician from Jamf in 2017, and several Microsoft certifications in 2011. Juan Antonio also obtained the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute in November 2010.
