Olha Mateva

Olha Mateva has a diverse work experience starting as an Intern at the National Bank of Ukraine in 2016. Olha then worked as an Economist and later as a Project Assistant at the National Bank of Ukraine in 2017. Moving forward, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Project Assistant for a brief period before joining MOYO as a Web Analyst. In 2018, they joined BetterMe USA as a Product Analyst. In 2021, they worked as a Lecturer at Projector Institute. Olha then joined Preply.com in 2020, initially as a Product Analyst and later progressing to the position of Senior Product Data Scientist. Currently, Olha is working as the Lead Product Data Scientist at Preply.com. In 2022, they also worked as a Mentor at Mentori v tilu, where they mentored data professionals and companies.

Olha Mateva holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics, with a focus on Differential Equations, from the same university from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Olha has also obtained several certifications, including Leadership Marathon from Preply internal education program, Product Mindset from ProductSense, GoPractice from go-rad, and Genesis IT School 3.0 from Генезис.
