David Thompson is currently the President and CEO of Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services. Prior to their current role, David served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, as well as the Vice President of Administration and General Counsel at the same organization. Before joining Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services, David was a self-employed Attorney at Law. David holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Baylor University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Baylor University.

Since 1903, PCHAS has provided Christ-centered care and support to children and families in need. We serve children and families throughout Texas, Missouri and Louisiana through twelve core programs: Foster Care & Adoption (TX), Foster Care & Medical Case Management (MO), Itasca Foster Care Village & Education Program (TX), Elevate Mentoring (TX, MO), Transitional Living - Adults (TX, MO), Transitional Living Group Homes & Scattered Site Apartments (MO), Youth Outreach (MO), Child and Family (TX, MO, LA), Counseling Centers at PCHAS (TX, MO), Family Solutions for Kids (MO), Single Parent Family (TX, MO) and Growing Together (TX).
