Kenneth Thompson

Kenneth Thompson, CFRE, currently serves as Vice President of Major and Planned Giving at Presbyterian Healthcare Services since November 2022. Previously, Kenneth held the position of Senior Director of Development at The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc. from July 2009 to November 2022, where contributions supported the Health Sciences Center’s mission of catering to New Mexico's diverse population. Kenneth's extensive experience includes serving as Lead Instructor at the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS for three decades, and positions at Albuquerque Academy as Director of Alumni Major Gifts and Faculty and Department Chair of Experiential Education from 1992 to 2009. Kenneth began a career in student services as Assistant Vice-President at Towson University from 1982 to 1992. Kenneth earned a Master of Science in Professional Writing with a concentration in Scientific Writing and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a focus on Secondary Education from Towson University.
