Melanie Owens

Melanie Owens joined PMMA in 2017 as senior vice president for human resources and was named chief financial officer in June 2017. She has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, non-profit finance management including a 10-year stint as a CFO, staff training and development, community-based program management, and new program development. Melanie has a bachelor of arts in accounting, with a minor in computer science and sociology, from Friends University, and a master’s degree in human resource management and organizational development from Webster University. She also holds the following credentials: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional Human Resources (PHR), and Society Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
