Wayne Knapp

Wayne has extensive experience in the aged and health care sector, having over 20 years of experience with both the Presbyterian and Uniting Churches. This includes the St Andrews Hospital, Brisbane and Wesley Hospital Townsville, where he was appointed the inaugural Chairman. Wayne was Chairman of PresCare from 2000 to 2014 and resigned from a recent reappointment to the Board to take up the role of CEO.

Wayne is a director of the PMSA group of schools and the Queensland Theological College. He retired from the Police Service as a Commissioned Officer in 2013 and provides governance, management and leadership to a number of boards and committees of the Church and its agencies (finance, property, policy, human resources and child protection).
