Jimmy Marsanico

Jimmy M. has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2008 as a REALTOR for E & M Real Estate. In 2009, they joined Apple Retail as a Specialist, teaching personalized lessons, facilitating training of new employees, conducting sales, and repairing mobile devices. In 2011, they became a Technical Support Engineer for EFT Energy Inc., overseeing energy analysis data for monitoring usage, anomalies, and forecasting. In 2013, they held two roles concurrently, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Carnegie Mellon University and a Data Scientist for VL Financial Associates (UniqueIO.com). At UniqueIO, they were responsible for a variety of data science roles, optimizing asset-investment research techniques using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms. In 2015, they became a Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Product Vision Product Manager for TheMuse.com, where they owned the data pipelines and data products from top to bottom. In 2017, they joined Bloomberg LP as an Enterprise Data Product Manager, managing the development of the Bloomberg Enterprise Access Point (BEAP). In 2019, they became the Head of Data for Imgur. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Prescient AI as the VP of Product.

Jimmy M. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from New York Institute of Technology. Jimmy also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification obtained in April 2014 from the Scrum Alliance and a Duolingo Italian Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) certification obtained in January 2016 from Duolingo.
