Alma Zhanaidarova

Alma Zhanaidarova is the Founder and Technical Lead at Apleum Technologies, specializing in alternative fuels since August 2022. Simultaneously, Alma serves as a Scientific Analyst/Consultant at PreScouter, Inc., focusing on market research and technology evaluation. Previously, Alma was a Carbon 13 fellow and the Founder & CTO of Fixing CO2, where responsibilities included technical and business development in inorganic/organometallic chemistry and renewable fuels. Alma's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering/Chemistry from UC San Diego, where significant research contributions resulted in two patents and multiple publications. Early research experience includes assistant roles at Stanford University and the California Institute of Technology, concentrating on establishing chemical labs and developing fuel cells.
