Yang Yu has extensive experience in software engineering and data science, with a focus on neuroimaging and AI. Starting as a Research Assistant at Neusoft in 2004, Yang progressed to roles at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Allen Institute, working on image analysis, scientific visualization, and computational methods for brain data. In 2021, Yang became Principal AI Data Scientist at Prescryptive Health, where they led the analysis of pharmacy data and developed an effective pricing solution. Currently, Yang serves as the Director of AI Data Engineering at Prescryptive Health, overseeing the deployment and scalability of analytical solutions.
Yang Yu completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University (CN) in 2001. Yang then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same university, graduating in 2005. Yang furthered their education by obtaining a PhD in Computer Science from Northeastern University (CN) in 2009.
