Chris Wilkins is a seasoned archaeological conservator with extensive experience in conservation practices spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Archaeological Conservator at Preservation Virginia since January 2021, Chris previously held positions such as Research Associate at Cardiff University, focusing on the conservation of archaeological artifacts, and Business Owner of Central Virginia Archaeological Conservation, where an introductory conservation module was developed. Additional roles include internships at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, as well as various positions at The University of Alabama. Chris holds a PhD in Conservation from Cardiff University and possesses a strong educational background in anthropology and conservation.
