Arash Afghahi

Arash Afghahi has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Arash began their career as a Program and Development Associate at Alwan for the Arts in 2012. Arash then moved on to become a Research and Program Assistant at New York University in the same year. In 2013, Arash took on the role of Youth Program Manager at the Arab-American Family Support Center of New York. In 2014, they became a Math Teacher at Lyons Community School. From 2016 to 2020, Arash was a Computer Science and Math Teacher at Expeditionary Learning School for Community Leaders. In 2020, they were a Frontend Developer at Who's Saving The Planet. Arash also worked as a Frontend Developer at breathing.ai during the same year, creating their chrome extension using a React.JS front end and a Flask back end. Currently, Arash is a Full Stack Engineer at Preset.

Arash Afghahi has been pursuing their education since 2006. Arash obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University in 2010. Arash then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University in 2013. In 2016, they earned a Master's degree in Education from Relay Graduate School of Education. Currently, Arash Afghahi is attending App Academy.
