Tamera S. has a diverse work experience in healthcare spanning over two decades. Tamera started their career as an Admissions Clerk at Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital in 1999. After that, they worked as a Registered Nurse at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 2002 to 2007, specializing in ICU patient care.

In 2007, they joined Baylor Scott & White Health as a Registered Nurse and later transitioned to managerial roles, including Director of Clinical Informatics at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine from 2010 to 2012 and Regional Director for Nursing and Patient Care Informatics at Baylor Health Care System from 2012 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Director of Clinical Informatics at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Grapevine. In this role, they provided nursing and multidisciplinary advocacy for the design, development, and implementation of clinical electronic systems.

Most recently, Tamera worked at Baylor Scott & White Health as the Enterprise Director of the Project Management Office from 2017 to 2023. In March 2023, they moved to Press Ganey and assumed the role of VP, Clinical Products Delivery.

Tamera S. holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing (Leadership and Management) from Walden University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University between 1997 and 2002. Tamera completed their secondary education at Carthage High School, where they obtained a Diploma in General Studies from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career in areas such as clinical documentation, customer experience, and nursing informatics, among others.
