Folkje Lips

Folkje Lips has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Folkje started their career at ilse media in 2006 as a Social Media Manager. Folkje then moved on to Euro's voor Vrede in 2007, where they worked as a Program Manager Digital until 2010. In 2010, they joined Upact as an Executive Director and held this position until 2013. From 2013 to 2019, Folkje worked at Hypernode by Byte, first as a Manager Tech Team and then as Head of Product. In 2019, they transitioned to Crosswise Works as a Business Director and worked there until 2021. In the same year, they founded Keycycle.nl. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Product at DEITY - Empowering Ecommerce Excellence until 2022. Currently, they are employed as the Lead Product Manager at Presspage.

Folkje Lips obtained a master's degree in Anthropology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2000 and 2006. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they pursued post-graduate studies in Business Management at ICM. In addition to their academic qualifications, Folkje received a certification as a "Beveiligingsadviseur voor het Politiekeurmerk Veilig Wonen" from the Centrum voor Criminaliteitspreventie en Veiligheid in March 2021.
