Fuliang Weng

Fuliang Weng has over three decades of work experience in the field of Conversational AI technologies. Fuliang is currently serving as the Chief Scientist of Speech Tech at Presto since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rulai, Inc. as the Lead AI Advisor from October 2020 to December 2021, where they played a crucial role in shaping and enabling next-generation dialog and virtual assistant applications for various industries. From August 2019 to June 2020, Fuliang held the position of Sr. Director, AI at Knowles Corporation, where they were the Global Head of AI and Algorithms on Edge Computing. Fuliang was responsible for driving tech roadmap and algorithm innovation in audio, speech, and AI at the edge.

Before joining Knowles Corporation, Fuliang worked as an Advisor at Consulting LLC from 2017 to 2020, offering their expertise and advisory services. From 2001 to 2017, Fuliang worked at Robert Bosch LLC, where they served as the Chief Expert, Director, and General Manager. Fuliang played a key role in driving innovative user tech R&D and shaping strategic directions in Conversational AI technologies for Robert Bosch Corporation. Prior to that, Fuliang worked at Intel Corp as a Staff Researcher and Team Manager, responsible for building a language technology team. Fuliang also worked as a Research Engineer at SRI International, where their technical contributions in voice recognition and spoken language understanding were instrumental in the company's leading position in the market.

Throughout their career, Fuliang has contributed to the development of key technologies in next-generation human-machine interaction systems and is recognized as a pioneer in Conversational AI systems for the automotive industry.
