Sergio Bachs FCIPD has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sergio started their career as a General Manager at Mitchells & Butlers from August 2002 to June 2004. Sergio then worked as an Area Manager at La Tasca from July 2004 to October 2011. Sergio joined Pret A Manger in October 2011 as an Operations Manager, leading 14 shops and achieving double-digit sales growth for 3 years. Sergio later became an HR Business Partner, successfully reducing team turnover. Sergio then transitioned to the field of learning and development, progressing to the role of Senior Learning & Development Manager and then Global Head of Retail Academy. In these roles, they developed a learner-centric training offer and transformed the learning experience through the deployment of e-learning and digital capabilities. Sergio also served as the Global Head of Talent, Learning & Development, implementing professional development and talent programs across Pret A Manger's global markets. Most recently, Sergio worked as the Global Director of Culture, responsible for cultural change programs and strategies focused on diversity, equality, and wellbeing. Currently, they hold the position of UK People Director at Pret A Manger.

Sergio Bachs FCIPD completed their Master of Business Administration - Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Cranfield University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they studied Psychology at Universitat de Barcelona from 1993 to 1998. Sergio also attended Marist College from 1981 to 1993.
