Saad Rana

Saad Rana is a skilled software engineer with experience in full-stack development and computer vision. Currently working at Pretia Technologies, Inc. since June 2022, Saad focuses on delivering instant augmented reality experiences, building an OAuth 2.1 and OIDC compliant authentication server, and creating a content management system for scheduling AR experiences. Previously, Saad played a key role in developing a Visual Positioning System from the ground up during a computer vision engineering role at Pretia. Saad's experience also includes internships in machine learning and computer vision, where techniques were developed to enhance scene reconstruction efficiency and improve object classification and detection in high-resolution images. Saad holds a Master of Engineering Science degree from the University of Oxford.
