Mariano Ruggiero has worked in the gaming industry for over a decade. Mariano's most recent role is as a Game Developer at Pretty Simple. Prior to this, they were the Lead Programmer at Pixowl from 2013 to present. Mariano was responsible for projects such as "Peanuts" (working title) and "Garfield - Survival of the Fattest". From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Globant. From 2002 to 2011, they were the Co-founder of Oniric Games, an Argentine game development studio. Mariano held various roles such as tech lead, programmer, game designer, UI designer, concept artist, 2D artist, and music composer. Mariano released the game "Elemental Rage" during this time. Before their work in the gaming industry, they were a Practical Applications Professor at UNNOBA from 2005 to 2011.

Mariano Ruggiero completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the Universidad Nacional del Noroeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires from 2004 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned an Analista de Computación degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 1999 to 2002.
