Cheryl Calhoun

Cheryl Calhoun has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Cheryl currently serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Operations at Pretzel Therapeutics since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at Gallowglass Ventures starting in January 2018. From July 2020 to April 2022, Cheryl worked as the Director of Global Contracts at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Before that, they were the Head of Business Operations at Tilos Therapeutics from October 2018 to July 2019. Cheryl also held various positions at BioCatalyst International, including Chief Operating Officer from January 2014 to October 2018 and Vice President from October 2006 to January 2015. From January 2009 to February 2015, they served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Xcovery. Additionally, Cheryl worked as a Manager of Research Administration at ImClone Systems, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, from December 2001 to October 2006. Cheryl started their career as a Senior Account Executive at Dow Jones, formerly CBS MarketWatch/ScreamingMedia.com in 1999.

Cheryl Calhoun holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from New York University. Cheryl also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
