Derrick Iozzio

Derrick Iozzio is the founder of Catch 22 Peer Support, LLC, established in November 2018 to provide peer support and resources for veterans, aiming to reduce suicide rates and promote a supportive forum for veterans' voices. With extensive experience as a Certified Peer Support Specialist and Expert Peer at Prevail Health, Derrick assists individuals with psychological disorders to achieve empowerment and cope with mental health challenges. Previous roles include participation in a DOD funded peer support program through BeTherePeerSupport.org and service as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army. Derrick holds multiple certifications and degrees in psychology and peer support, including a Bachelor's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University and specialized training from the Texas Certification Board and Military Veteran Peer Network.
