Rick Levy

Rick Levy's work experience includes various roles in operations management and leadership positions. Rick is currently the Operations Manager at Prevail Legal, a position they took on in December 2022. Prior to this, Levy worked at Cadence Translate as the Transcription Production Manager from July 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they established the Transcript Production department and implemented improvements to enhance transcript accuracy and client satisfaction. Levy also coordinated with clients, transcribers, and operations personnel across multiple regions and languages. Before joining Cadence Translate, Levy served as the Chief Operating Officer at driizl from March 2012 to July 2019. Rick was responsible for establishing the litigation media production department, developing operational procedures and policies for the driizl Litigation Media platform, and training attorneys and legal staff on its use. Levy leveraged technology to streamline processes and reduce labor costs and overheads. Prior to driizl, Levy worked at Merrill Legal Solutions as the Video Manager for Southern California from November 2002 to March 2012. In this position, they managed a team of direct reports and oversaw multiple operations areas related to deposition transcript production and legal video, while also fostering relationships with various stakeholders. Before entering the legal services industry, Levy played the drums for the band Vermicious K from January 1997 to April 2001.

Rick Levy obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from the College of the Desert between 1992 and 1994. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film and English at California State University, Northridge from 1994 to 1997.
