Brian Fochtman

Brian Fochtman has extensive work experience in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. Brian currently works as a Computational Biologist at Prevail Therapeutics since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at CRISPR Therapeutics from June 2019 to September 2022. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from September 2018 to June 2019. Brian also has experience working as an ORISE Fellow Bioinformatics at the FDA from October 2016 to August 2018.

Brian Fochtman completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from Georgetown University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Ph.D. in Structural Biology at Stony Brook University, obtaining their doctoral degree in this field in 2017.
