Alan J. Gunner is the current Director at Prevent Blindness. Alan has over 20 years of experience in the eye care industry and has held various leadership positions during their career. Prior to their current position, they were the Senior Partner at Visibility Management, a consulting practice that assists clients in understanding trends in the eye care business and how to strategize their position in the market. Alan has also held the role of Vice President, Corporate Development and Professional Services at For Eyes by Grandvision, and Vice President, Client Services at Advantica Dental and Vision.

Alan J. Gunner is a marketing professional who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University and a certification from the Ohio Department of Insurance in Accident & Health, Life, and Variable Annuities. Alan also attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where they completed an executive education program in Implementing Strategy.
