Layla Lohmann

Layla Lohmann is an experienced dental professional and patient advocate specializing in thyroid eye disease. Currently, Layla serves as a Patient Advocate at Prevent Blindness, contributing to various health education initiatives and public forums focused on women's eye health. Layla owns and leads Dallas Dental Group, overseeing a team of 22 members while providing patient care. As the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Apex Dental Partners, Layla supports over 100 dentists across multiple states and actively participates in establishing clinical standards. Layla is a recent graduate of Glidewell Dental's Guiding Leaders program, aimed at empowering women in dentistry. Additionally, Layla has held teaching roles at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry and has worked at several dental practices throughout their career. Layla holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.
