Jack Waxman is a dedicated educator and active community leader with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a Math and History Teacher for Teach For America since June 2023, Waxman also contributes as a Board Member for the Preventing Tobacco Addiction Foundation. Previous roles include Lead Press Intern for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer at the US Congress and Legislative Aide for New York State Assemblymember Anna Kelles. Waxman has experience in political campaigns, having worked as a Campaign Manager for Alex Hammond for New York Assembly and founded Students Against Nicotine, serving as Executive Director from 2018 to 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Cornell University and ongoing studies for a Master of Special Education at Hunter College.
