Erin Lakomski

Erin Lakomski, MSW, has extensive experience in the field of drug and alcohol prevention, currently serving as a Prevention Materials Copywriter at Prevention First Inc. since January 2020. In this role, Erin creates communication materials aimed at parents and youth to prevent cannabis use and underage drinking. Previous experience includes serving as a contractual trainer and materials developer at Prevention First, Inc., where Erin focused on effective prevention strategies, and as a media consultant, developing campaigns for several high schools. Additionally, Erin worked as a Community Health Specialist III at the Lake County Health Department, managing social norms marketing campaigns, and began a career as a graduate intern with the City of Chicago Youth Services Division, monitoring youth-serving grants. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Illinois Springfield.
