Carter Dunham has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Carter started their career as a Lighting Tech at Strings in the Mountains in 2003 and simultaneously worked as a Stage Hand at Union Colony Civic Center. In 2007, they joined Electronic Theatre Controls as a Project Manager LTE. Carter then moved on to Feld Entertainment as a Production Electrician in 2009 before transitioning to Morgan Systems Inc, where they served as a Lighting Manager for nine years. In 2010, Carter joined Production Resource Group, starting as a Sr. Project Manager and progressing through various roles, including Show Operations Manager, Show Services Manager - Association, and finally Director of Global Accounts. Currently, they hold the position of VP Sales, Association and Exhibits.

Carter Dunham, DES, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Northern Colorado, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Steamboat Springs High School from 2000 to 2003, with a focus on Arts Emphasis. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification from the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) in April 2021.
