Job Summary: PRIA Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our growing organization.  The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the U.S.  healthcare ecosystem and reimbursement processes and will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring optimal execution of our client’s U.S. reimbursement and market access strategies through our Patient Access Platform Solutions.  The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve client objectives across our strategy and Patient Access Platform Solution services.

  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Understand clients' needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
    • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  2. Account Growth:
    • Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for revenue growth.
    • Proactively present new products or services to meet client needs.
  3. Project Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of client projects.
    • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet client expectations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
  4. Communication and Reporting:
    • Regularly update clients on project progress, milestones, and results through the lens of reimbursement trends to inform business decision and strategic changes to Program processes and focus.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on account status and performance.
    • Conduct client meetings and presentations to review strategies and results.
  5. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Monitor and ensure overall client satisfaction with our products/services.
    • Address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Seek feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
  6. Contract Renewals and Negotiations:
    • Manage contract renewals and negotiations.
    • Work to secure long-term commitments from clients.
  7. U.S. Reimbursement Knowledge
  • Proficient with various coding constructs (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10) and their relation to coverage policies, UM guidelines and claims processing and adjudication processes.
  • Understanding of federal and state laws and regulations in medical reimbursement for HCPCS, CPT and ICD-10 pcs and diagnosis codes with relation to payment models for Outpatient, Inpatient, DME, and Physician Office settings.
  • 8.Program Design, Development and Strategic Oversight
    • Responsible for the consultative engagement for initial Program set up, through a “Design Phase” of technology tailored Programs and oversight throughout Program tenure

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of U.S. reimbursement and market access fundamentals with experience in a consulting capacity, HUB service vendor or medtech organization preferred.

  • Skilled in insurance verification and reimbursement skills.

  • Interact with internal departments (e.g. billing and coding patient access programs) and clients to address coding issues to ensure coverage outcome accuracy.

  • Understand anatomy and physiology, disease process, medical terminology and pharmacology.

  • Work independently following established policies, procedures and practices.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and information security.

  • Efficiently and independently manage schedule, deadlines and follows through on tasks.

  • Excellent insurance verification and reimbursement process skills for new medical technologies.

  • Interact with internal departments (e.g. billing and coding patient access programs) and clients to address coding issues to ensure coverage outcome accuracy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident demeanor, with the ability to guide clients to make business decisions based on Program trends and data.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and interact with various functional levels with the client, from leadership to field teams.

  • Ability to analyze data and present insights to clients, specifically identifying trends and ensuring the Programs are meeting client needs.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Experiences with CRM software, project management tools, PowerPoint deck creation.

  • Business minded with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding client expectations.

  • Ability to anticipate client issues and recommend solutions.
