Vignesh Selvaraj

Vignesh Selvaraj has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Vignesh is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Priceline since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Priceline from March 2020 to February 2023. Before joining Priceline, Vignesh worked at Expedia Group as a Software Development Engineer II from June 2019 to March 2020. Vignesh was responsible for migrating data pipeline applications and developing Kinesis Streams in Java and Kotlin. Vignesh also worked at T-Mobile as a Software Engineer III from January 2019 to June 2019, where they developed cloud-ready RESTful microservices and AWS Lambda Functions. Vignesh has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Great-West Life, a SOA Technical Consultant at Rogers Communications, and a Senior Software Engineer at Virgin Mobile Canada. Vignesh started their career as an I.T. Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where they specialized in Java/JEE and various technologies including Oracle Service Bus and Weblogic Integration.

Vignesh Selvaraj completed their education in a chronological order. Vignesh obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Thiagarajar Polytechnic College from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, graduating between 2005 and 2008. Later on, Vignesh pursued further education by completing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, which they started in 2022 and is expected to finish by 2024.

In terms of additional certifications, Vignesh completed a course called "Microservices - Fundamentals" from Coursera in February 2019. The institution providing the certification is Coursera.
