Katrine Barslev

Katrine Barslev has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Katrine is currently working at PriceRunner - A Klarna Group Company as a Consumer Expert and Communications Lead, where they focus on promoting green initiatives and authentic CSR efforts. Previously, they served as a Board Member for the Danish Ecommerce Award at Dansk Erhverv.

From 2015 to 2021, Katrine worked at Mynewsdesk, starting as a Marketing Communications Manager and later taking on roles such as Nordic Marketing & Communications Manager, Internal Communication Specialist and Marketing Manager Denmark, Head of Communications & Content, and Global Team Leader and Marketing & Communications Manager.

Prior to that, they were the Site Manager Denmark at Viaplay from 2012 to 2015, overseeing editorial content, customer communication, social media, press relations, and content strategy.

Katrine also has experience as a Korrespondent i Sverige at Kristeligt Dagblad from 2010 to 2014, where they covered news in Sweden, and as a Freelance journalist at Mediaplanet, Egmont Magasiner, Visit Sweden, and Ganni, contributing with articles and interviews.

Katrine Barslev attended Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole from 2006 to 2010. Katrine then enrolled at Aarhus University in 2005 for an unspecified amount of time. Katrine returned to Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole at an unknown date. Later, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Francisco State University. In November 2017, Katrine obtained a certification from Mynewsdesk Digital PR Academy.
