Mariano Bustamante

Mariano Bustamante currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Risk Management at PriceSmart, overseeing the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Program across Central America, Colombia, and the Caribbean. Previously, Mariano held key positions at Cuestamoras as Corporate Risk Director, where responsibilities included defining and implementing the Risk Management Framework, and at Walmart de México y Centroamérica in various roles, culminating as Central Operations Director managing operations for five countries. Mariano's early career includes positions at LEUTER S.A. and Grupo Constenla, focusing on supply chain management and logistics. Mariano holds a Master's degree in Risk Management from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and a Master's in Logística Empresarial from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, along with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Centro América.
