Yegana Mammadova has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Yegana is currently the Deputy Head of Human Rights at Pride in London, a volunteer role they started in December 2022. Yegana Mammadova completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law at The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 2015 to 2019.

In 2020, they pursued further education in Human Rights by attending the University of Strasbourg, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International and Transnational Law. During the same year, they also completed the course "ISS The Fundamentals of Human Rights" at the University of Oslo (UiO).

From 2021 to 2023, Yegana Mammadova enrolled in the University of Gothenburg and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Rights Policy and Practice.

In 2022, they pursued another MA degree in Human Rights at the University of Deusto, which they completed in 2023.
