John Doherty

John Doherty has had a diverse work experience over the years. John began their career at Atech Services in 1996 as an Occupational Therapist specializing in assistive technology. In this role, they performed evaluations and provided consultations to improve the lives of consumers and maximize their independence. John worked at Atech Services until 2009.

In 2009, John Doherty joined Pride Mobility Products Corporation as a Clinical Education Manager. John held this position until 2013 when they became the Quantum Sales Regional Manager for the Northeast US. In 2015, they were promoted to Senior Clinical Education Manager and then became the Director of Clinical Education in 2017.

Throughout their career, John Doherty has gained extensive experience in clinical education, management, and sales.

John Doherty completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they earned an Associates in Science in Individual Studies from Ulster Country Community College between 1988 and 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Licensed and Registered Occupational Therapist through the State of New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professionals and NBCOT in October 1996. Moreover, they obtained the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America in 1998. Lastly, they became a Seating and Mobility Specialist (SMS) through the same institution in August 2010.
