Reading Tutor at PRIDE Reading Program

Anne-Laure Grigsby has extensive experience in education, primarily focusing on tutoring and instructing students with learning disabilities and those learning English as a second language. Currently serving as a Clinician, Mentor, and Tester at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes since October 2020, Anne-Laure has honed skills in one-on-one student tutoring, reading comprehension, and employing creative strategies such as ABA techniques. Additionally, as a Reading Tutor for the PRIDE Reading Program since June 2019, Anne-Laure has utilized the Orton-Gillingham method to effectively teach reading and track student progress. Previous roles include Private English Tutor at Global LT, Inc., ESL Teacher at San Jose City College, and various teaching positions in adult and community education, leading to a robust pedagogical foundation supported by a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
