Maximilian Ruf

Maximilian Ruf is a seasoned expert in the fields of radicalization and violence prevention, currently serving as the Director of the Research Department at Violence Prevention Network since September 2017. In addition, Maximilian is an Associate Researcher at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt and holds an Associate Fellow position at Modus - Zentrum für angewandte Deradikalisierungsforschung gGmbH. Maximilian has contributed significantly as a Core Team Expert with the Radicalisation Awareness Network and has experience in various research roles, including positions at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and King's College London. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Terrorism, Security & Society from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Cultures of the Middle East from Freie Universität Berlin.
