Andrea Usuelli

Andrea Usuelli has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Starting as a freelance article writer for HostingTalk.it, they then co-owned, developed, and managed the infrastructure for Italiansubs.net, a popular Italian TV series community. In 2012, Andrea joined Facile.it as the Lead Backend Engineer, working on the back office platform for the energy division. Moving on, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Rocket Internet AG, where they were responsible for the infrastructure of Shopwings, managing numerous AWS EC2 nodes and implementing various technologies for high availability. Since 2015, Andrea has been with Prima Assicurazioni, initially serving as the Senior DevOps Engineer and later advancing to the role of Chief Technology Officer. In this position, they have successfully disrupted the insurance industry using technology as a competitive advantage and has spearheaded the company's expansion into other European countries.

Andrea Usuelli attended the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 2010 to 2011, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they attended the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale ad indirizzo Programmatori, where they obtained a degree in 2010 in the field of Ragioniere e perito programmatore.
