Edison Eduardo Bernal Moreno

Edison Eduardo Bernal Moreno has extensive work experience in various financial roles. EDISON EDUARDO began their career at Abbott, where they served as Cost Head, overseeing financial planning and cost activities with a budget of $120 million. EDISON EDUARDO then moved to Merck Group, where they worked as a Financial Planning Manager, leading the financial planning and costing team with a budget of $80 million. EDISON EDUARDO also played a key role in implementing ERP systems and managing pricing policies. After that, they joined Votorantim Siderurgia S.A. as Director of Financial Planning, where they led the financial team and managed the annual budget of $150 million. In their most recent role at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., they served as LATAM Finance Director and later as Finance & Business Controller, responsible for financial strategy, planning, reporting, and compliance. EDISON EDUARDO achieved significant milestones, such as restructuring the company, implementing new ERP systems, and driving sales growth. Edison is currently working as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Primadera since April 2023.

Edison Eduardo Bernal Moreno began their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Universidad Santo Tomás, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. EDISON EDUARDO then pursued a degree in Corporate Finance at CESA from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, completing their studies in 2008. In 2013, Edison pursued further education in management by completing the Harvard Manage Mentor program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, in 2013-2014, they studied Altos Estudios en Gestión y Liderazgo Estratégico at Universidad de Los Andes.
