Jeroen Steen

Jeroen Steen has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jeroen is currently the CFO at Primagaz Belgium NV since December 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at SHV Energy as a Senior Finance Business Partner from December 2019 to November 2022. At Alcon, they held various positions including EMEA Head of Finance Internet BU from July 2018 to February 2019, Head of R2P at Alcon European FSC from April 2017 to June 2018, Head of FRA from March 2016 to March 2017, and BPA Manager Pharmaceuticals from February 2013 to March 2016. Before their time at Alcon, they worked at Barry Callebaut as a Manager ICS & ERM in 2011, took a sabbatical as a Manager in 2010, and worked as a Financial Consultant at Oliver Wyman from February 2008 to April 2010. Jeroen has also worked as a PhD fellow in nanotechnology at EPFL Switzerland from January 2003 to December 2007 and at the University of Tokyo in 2006. Additionally, they have experience in marketing and merchandising at Racktime B.V. from October 2001 to June 2002.

Jeroen Steen obtained a Ph.D. in Microsystems and Microelectronics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Applied Physics at the University of Twente from 1996 to 2002.
