Murat Soyupak

Murat Soyupak is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Director of Engineering at Meta since 2017, focusing on the Wearables and Meta AI app product foundations, as well as overseeing engineering efforts related to smartglasses and future wearable devices. Previously, Murat held key engineering roles at Instagram, where responsibilities included directing the engineering teams for commerce, advertiser growth, and small to medium-sized business products, along with leading growth product initiatives. Early in the career, Murat held engineering leadership positions at Gusto!, Twitter, Groupon, and Microsoft, contributing to significant product developments across various domains. Additionally, Murat is a member of the Mastermind Network at Primary Venture Partners, fostering professional development within the NYC tech community. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Computer Science from Hacettepe University and a high school diploma from Tarsus American College.
